I visited the Agadir Basin in Morocco during my postdoctorate in Barcelona funded by Equinor. The aim of the trip was to study the relationship between the Jurassic and Cretaceous deposits, both carbonates and clastics deposited in the basin and the Triassic salt diapirs influence. These were then used to reconstruct the timing of the opening of the Atlantic Ocean.
