Project background
This on-going project started in 2012 is conducted at Royal Holloway University of London (U.K.) and is funded by BP and Baker Hughes.
The main actors are Prof. Dan Bosence (Royal Holloway University of London), Prof. Pete Burgess (University of Liverpool), Dr. Arnaud Gallois (Independent researcher), Dr. Estanislao Kozlowski (Halliburton), Prof. Bernie Vining (Royal Holloway University of London and ex-Baker Hughes) and the late Dr. Ian Billing (ex-BP).

2 PhD projects:
- Late Jurassic lacustrine carbonates; a multi-scale analysis of the Mupe Member (Purbeck Limestone Group) of the Wessex Basin, U.K. by Arnaud Gallois (2012-2016).
- Multi-scale forward modelling of microbial lacustrine carbonates by Estanislao Kozlowski (2013-2017).

4 MSc projects:
Reservoir implications of transition from marine to lacustrine carbonates: a seismic and field-based study, Late Jurassic, Wessex Basin, UK by Putri Cahyagempita  and completed in October 2017 supervised by Dr. Arnaud Gallois and Prof. Dan Bosence.
- Sequence and layering in lacustrine carbonates; Purbeck Limestone, Wessex Basin by Victoria Dharmarajah and completed in October 2015 supervised by Dr. Arnaud Gallois and Prof. Dan Bosence.
- Seafloor bathymetry analysis of the Weymouth Anticline and circular structures of Weymouth Bay by Simon Fleckner and completed in October 2014 supervised by Dr. Arnaud Gallois and Prof. Dan Bosence.
- Syn-rift setting of Jurassic rocks within the Wessex Basin (Bournemouth Bay, Southern England) by Patrisa Shigwedha and completed in October 2014 supervised by Dr. Arnaud Gallois and Prof. Dan Bosence.
