I visited Porto Pi in July 2019 during the post-conference fieldtrip of the 2019 Bathurst meeting organised in Palma de Mallorca.
There microbialites as stromatolites and thrombolites deposited in a hypersaline environment as indicated with the close association of evaporite during microbialite growth.
